Grade of sandpaper to sand down wings on TT blade?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to sand down the wings of my Butterfly Petr Korbel JP slightly to match those of my OSP Virtuoso and Nittaku Acoustic which I find much more comfortable. What grade of sandpaper do you recommend I use? Any additional tips would also be appreciated!

I usually use 80 grid for sanding wings.

The general rule for any sanding is start with low grit and work up from there. If I was doing it, I'd start 120, then go 240 and finish 400 or if I wanted it really smooth 600. Do it slowly and carefully, if you go too far there's no turning back!

Ninja got it right. With allwood blade like yours it´s better to start with 120. With composite I have used only 80 and it has worked fine for me. But better safe than sorry.
