hi,you said ito use nittaku morusto sp in thick.so thick is 2.0mm?i saw 2.2m is max

"Thick" means 1.8mm on the Nittaku scale, and "super thick" is their max sponge at 2.0mm on paper, but I'm not sure what their actual max thickness would be in the real world, or their tolerance range.

But this got me wondering Zeio (I know your post was from May), did the "Thick" description apply only to her Moristo, or also the G-1?

Moristo in thick.

Whoops. Does this mean I'm trying to use a less-controllable SP than Mima? I bought the super thick.

How much practical difference is there between 1.8 and 2.0 moristo?

The sinking effect is more pronounced in thinner sponges. Raw pips are typically among the fastest so people tend to choose thinner sponges for the effect.
