Can’t wait for the tournament to get started!
My dream matchups for the final rounds would be fzd vs Harimoto and XX vs ML for semi-finals and fzd vs ML in the final. But I’m afraid Harimoto would be stopped by LGY.

“I feel a little strange about playing. Even having played for over ten years, I feel different today; I need two or three months to feel right about the matches. I have to improve my fluency. The number of rounds has increased for me, which requires more energy and strength. My major problem is not strength but energy. For example, before I could win playing one or two rounds. There is also doubles; more energy. Make no mistake I will take every game seriously.” Zhang Jike

LJK almost got eliminated by his compatriot Niu Guankai. Was down 0:3. Managed to turn the tide after winning the 4th 12:10.
last week’s star Cho SM is not as lucky though. He was kicked out by his countryman Kim Minhyeok, a much lowered ranking player.

All big guns are in China Open. What an exciting week ahead. I hope ZJK qualifies to main round and meets ML early in the.draw. Will be fun to watch how that will unfold.

Yes that would be great but zhang jike 's rival for tomorrow is Kim Minhyeok , your country man . He is a good player and can be dangarous . So I got a little scared . But I hope jike becomes better and better which is not out of reach

Kim Minhyeok is a dangerous player capable of upsets. But as long as ZJK is healthy and fights for it, he can still rival anyone.

She quited China Open just after losing to HZJ in HK Open. Maybe she was exhausted after playing Thailand and HK Open successively.

Just FYI, both LSW and Chen Meng have withdrawn from China open. LSW is recovering from "lingering injury." Chen Meng just underwent surgery and needs time to recover. Read this from ITTF.com
