Hi all,

Does anyone here tried Maze ALC with chinese rubber on forehand? Can you compare to other blades like Viscarialike or HL5like.

Thanks in advance.

I did, I can't compare it to a Viscaria or TBS/TB ALC, but I can tell you that it works really well with a Maze.

It does require good footwork though. In my experience, 98% of players asking about these things are better off with a more controllable 7 ply wood blade - which harmonizes even better with Chinese Rubbers IMO.

I've been using ALC blades since I was 15 years old. I've been using treiber k but today I'll try viscaria with h3n blue sponge. Because treiber k was too well balanced chinese rubber feels dead. With viscaria that will not happen but I think it will be too bouncy to me, and I was afraid Maze also could not play well with chinese rubbers

The DHS 301 is very linear with Chinese rubbers, and is plenty fast.

It's an option also! I'll tried with Viscaria today and it was awesome. I didn't like my Viscaria feel with Tenergy 05 both sides, and with H3N BS was so better!

I've been watching that blade and maybe I'll try it in training sessions, if anyone of my friends in my club buy it :p

A classic Chinese rubber like Neo H3 will pair well with a wide range of blade incl all wood and ALC.

I put a Neo TG2 (which is slower than H3 but more spin) on a 5-ply all wood blade. But my FH loop is among the most powerful in my club.

With Chinese rubber, they more you put in, rhe more you get out. Most blades will work.

Yes I have.
Yesterday I tried one with anatomic handle, H3 blue sponge in FH and T05 BH. It has a very good feeling and many gears. I was suprised because I thougt that ALC blades are faster in comparison with my petr korbel.

Well Maze has some nice control, but never tried it with chinese rubbers! Thank you! ;)
