In before Der_Echte...

Purely guessing from RSM's demo, it appears to me he is emphasizing on weight transfer to increase the oomph and assist the recovery, by shifting/directing it downward on the leading foot at the end of the stroke.

Listening again, in the early stages, RSM said he missed as players wasn't watching the ball. In another segment RSM was saying NOT to practice at 1/4 or 1/2 power. Practice at the speed you use in a match. For J-Penners, this is an all-out assault. The other segment RSM was noting why the guy was hitting some power drives long. RSM said "Mome doe deuloh ga ya dwei" which means "you gotta get more of your body into" (the shot). RSM was forever saying "Apuhro" which means FORWARD.

This is gonna get into another discussion of rsm loop technique for the power involved.

Look at how rsm demonstrates by stepping to the side and transferring. This is the 90/100 percent power way when trying to power a ball on a step around.

The 70/80 power way one uses hips and some extra shoulder with a forward stroke and weight transfer.

From looking at how the guy was looking, rsm was telling him to go more forward with the weight transfer. This is the 70/80 power. The 90/100 power shot you are not selling out you are not stepping around, so you can take that step forward and transfer power to ball and still recover if at mid distance.
