Marcos freitas alc suggestions

Hi, I was looking at reviews of the freitas alc and was thinking ahead of myself and I wanted to buy it. I was looking for a blade that felt softer that koto blades like the boll spirit, but crisper than innerset carbon and hinoki top layers. Is the freitas the balanced between them two and also what are the things that the freitas blade cannot do well. I will probably be pairing this with t05 either side but might try h3 neo.
Thanks.

Hi,

Freitas ALC is a rebranding of Maze ALC, if you already use a TBS, Freitas ALC is a can't-go-wrong, you will have more control and also won't lose speed. I tried it with Tenergies/Tensors and it's a wonderful blade, but about chinese rubbers I posted a thread about it some time ago and most people have said it goes well with chinese rubbers. If you have no budget, you should try Yinhe Venus 16, its a Freitas/Maze ALC clone and you can buy it for 40$.

OK - The Freitas blade is a good option - It won't be far away from all the Butterfly ALC type blades.

I would absolutely test out H3 though - It's a world away from T05, and you will probably (at a guess), absolutely hate it.

As a an English junior, I wouldn't get caught up in the H3 hype - The stuff you will likely buy is very very poor compared with what is being talked about by the pro's.

If you can, stick with T05 and you'll do well (providing you can already control it).

H3 Neo Commercial sucks really bad. You should try Provincial One, or Provincial Blue Sponge(Not consistent, I've used some really good and tacky, and the newer, less tacky, did not like so much). If you wan't a more cheaper, consistent, and more quality chinese rubber, try 729-08 or 729 Battle II. Tried 729-08 from my chinese trainer and well, now two are on my locker waiting season starts to be used!

If you are interested, I bought my rubbers here -> http://r.ebay.com/IKEry0

If you need softer feeling, more crispy feel
Treiber K is the one
Perfect control, Here in Poland we can buy for 40$

I Confirm, Viscaria felt a bit too fast for me and I went to Treiber K and had almost the same feeling with more control and more flex. Played with it 3 years.

Treiber K + Fastarc G1 combo is something special

(I had 30 blades in last year, I broke every rule when we talk about equipment but G1 with K is like perfection)
