Watch Vladi play choppers. It is truly a delight. That's when you go "o ye, the guy understands TT." I don't mean to contradict, it's just really worth the while. He doesn't destroy them the way Kong Linghui would, but he makes it look like a walk in the park.

ps. Speaking of Kong Linghui, this doesn't get old: youtu.be/4_O6fZjYDlw
Seriously wtf JSH.
Greatest player vs chop ever is for me Xu Xin. What he does is just ridiculous. I think there may have been a loss to Ma Te that put a blemish but I don't know KLH's record as well as I know XX.

The silence in the arena during chop rallies with almost no ball sounds is giving a tension aura for the game, I reckon

Yay Xu Xin. I hope he wins the Bulgaria open and entertains us a lot in the process.

Xu Xin is still an amazing player overall though. KLH was at the top as well, and Waldner too if we're going to give other examples of people who are outstanding against defenders.

Samsonov has an amazing career, but maybe we can now say he is past his prime in terms of physical fitness (which can cost him when playing very aggressive, fast or powerful players - LSS comes to mind), so when I see him toy with choppers (for instance Panagiotis WTTC 2017), it is by contrast a great reminder of just how good the guy is, and how much he knows his TT.

Rosskopf was another player with a great anti-chopper game.
