Xu Chenhao joins the casualty list.

says STAX X9000 is the BEST!
WOW, russian players mostly great performance at this round, Vlasov, Burov, Skachkov go through it! Especially happy for Burov, he is from my city, hope there will be video of his match with Gacina somewhere, really want to watch it!

0-4 for Shibaev is kinda sad though... also sad for Mikhailova loss, she also from my city, even seen her training a few times not too long ago (about 3-4 weeks ago was training on table next to table she was training) :(

main draw on the women side
all 6 chinese women in bottom half
it will be very very hard for ito mima to defend her czech open title from 2017
she will most probably be facing a chinese player in each round - if she advances

again it is ridiculous that all the Chinese woman players are all in bottom half. Now it seems all the Chinese players have to play at the same half. If you look at the last few tournament, you can see the draws were like this

Nice, Skachkov and Burov get into Main Draw, Burov even beat Monteiro in 4th prelim round (hope he have enough endurance, 3 preliminary rounds in a row 4-3 win, tough...), hope they get even further!

A bit sad for Vlasov, after beating Maze 4-1 he was crushed 0-4 in next round by Jorgic (3-11,9-11,8-11,5-11)...

Yeah, she plays spectacular with those short pips. She had a good run in Olomouc few years ago I think.

You can also say it other way. Ittf took all effort to make sure Mima Ito will not win this tour:
1 round Zhang Rui
2 round probably Liu Gaoyang
3 round probably Wen Jia
4 round you can choose betwen Wu Yang, Wang Yidi and Sun Mingyang
So she needs to take down all chinese girls to meet Kasumi in the final. Of course I know zeio see it in different way (lucky ishikawa):):)
I think it is just random selection causes this thing, they all played preliminary rounds so I do not see any unfair process. Of course if somebody likes conspiracy teories - there is not much to say.

Dramatic match b/w Ito and Zhang Rui. From 3 games up to 3 all, then from a big lead to a deep hole in the last game.
