Hey guys, here's an interview with myself and Damien Eloi at the andro School in Dusseldorf. As I arrived to review the new andro blades with Damien I took the opportunity to ask him some questions re the new blades of 2018. Andro have gone for a new approach with their blade range, check it out:

What do you think of this new concept from andro going from 60 to 22 blades? Have you tried out any of the new blades from the range? New review with Damien coming soon.

I’ll post a review of the new TP_Ligna OFF sometime next week.

I was expecting a review of Wanokiwami series as they are on the high end and people who’ve used them appreciate it.

You have to make many blades if u want ppl to buy many blades.

If theres one blade then a dude will go 'alright' and practice.
If u got 60 then a dude will go 'maybe if i get a different blade'

Hey guys, here's an interview with myself and Damien Eloi at the andro School in Dusseldorf.

It has been a while since the grammar police have come to take Dan away.

But this sentence is as bad as it gets. [emoji2]

Myself is a reflexive pronoun. You guys may want to look up usage for a reflexive pronoun. But, here goes:

A reflexive pronoun is always and only used when it refers back to the subject of a sentence or sentence fragment and is the same as the subject: for example:

“I interviewed MYSELF.”

But not:

“John interviewed myself.”

“John interviewed himself” would work. But definitely NOT “John interviewed myself.”

Also, a reflexive is never used as the object in A PREPOSITIONAL PHRASE. [emoji2]

So you would never say: “about myself” or “with myself”. These constructions are incorrect.

Now, if you were making a joke and using a reflexive pronoun incorrectly as part of the humor in the joke, that is okay.

But it is worth not using a reflexive pronoun incorrectly because it usually makes it seem like the person using it is trying to sound intelligent and it generally has the unintended opposite effect. [emoji2]

Here, this seems like a decent source:

Hey guys, here's an interview with myself and Damien Eloi at the andro School in Dusseldorf.

By the way, to make this a grammatically correct sentence, it would need to be:

“Hey guys, here's an interview with Damien Eloi and me at the Andro School in Dusseldorf.”

So, some of you ask, hey wait, shouldn’t it be like this:

“Hey guys, here's an interview with Damien Eloi and I at the Andro School in Dusseldorf.”

Here the answer is NO. [emoji2]

I is a subjective pronoun which means it has to be THE SUBJECT. [emoji2]

And you can hear when you try and say this without the other name.

“Hey guys, here's an interview with I at the Andro School in Dusseldorf.”

As soon as Damien Eloi’s name is removed you can hear and tell that the pronoun “I” will not work.

But: “Here’s an interview with me.” Will work. And thus, the correct grammatical construction would be:

“Here is an interview with Damien Eloi and me.”

What does this mean?

There are a lot of times when the grammar police should come to accost Dan. Hahahaha.

I figured I had to have fun with that.

An American teaching english to an Englishman.
Is that irony?

hahaha. I am just angling for Dan to teach me how to play TT and see what I can give him in return. :)
