They're hard to come by now so you might have to spend quite a bit to get a used one.
Or you can buy the Freitas ALC which is the same as the Maze, just rebranded.
A cheaper option is the Timo Boll Spirit which is close enough to the Maze/Freitas ALC and what Michael Maze actually uses.

For OP's sake, I don't think you'll see either Maze or Boll play with one lol, but the V16 is a great blade.

Yes, sometimes they feel or look better and they are a collectible item, I'm a bit of a collector myself. In the case of the Maze ALC, it's a simple great looking handle, much nicer looking than the Freitas in my opinion and I do like the Freitas handle. And I'm a big fan of Maze (and Freitas for that matter).
