Hello Guys, I am new to this forum. I was wondering if someone could help me out with an issue i am facing. I have a Butterfly power 7 fl ply OFF+ which is quite old but i am skeptical about its condition. The ply still have the power but bubbles seems to set in when rubber is applied. I have attached few pics of the ply. Please let me know if i should continue with it or should i replace it with a new one. Thank you and sorry for my bad english. :)

IMHO you don't need to replace it necessarily, if it still feels nice to you and doesn't have any cracks, especially in the area from where the handle ends and the blade face begins.
Some blades will start feeling better over time. I think it's partly because the moisture inside the wood dries and gets less.

There are ways to get rid of the sweat stains, not only by sanding, but also solvents and you could use wood filler to fill up the missing chips on the top ply. Most likely the printing will disappear though.

TTD member Magic_M could say a few words about this too.

But it all depends on its condition. If the damage is too big then don't waste time and get a new one, but if not and you like how it feels when you play with it, there is no need to get a new one.

Afaik Marcos Freitas still uses his old Michael Maze blade from the days when he was a teenager and not his signature blade.
