Lin Yun-Ju is the number 3, he beat Wang Chuqin recently.

Harimoto or Hirano playing means this doesn't have the feel of a "youth" tournament as they are so established. I would expect both to win.

I think Harimoto will win but not Hirano. Hirano has been in a slump ever since she won the ATTC last year and has lost almost everytime to chinese players with the exception of Chen Ke (who is a 2nd tier CNT player). She'll probably reach the final but i'm not expecting her to beat Sun Yingsha there.

I dont think Lin Yunju would attend. The person representing China there is Wang Chuqin.

It won't be easy for Harimoto because Wang Chuqin and Lin Yun-Ju are able to beat almost every player on a good day and even Moregardh might surprise in this tournament.

Btw, I totally agree that it's going to be among Harimoto, Wang Chuqin, Lin Yunju, and Moregardh on men's side. As much as I'd like Jha to win, he's just not there yet. I've seen how well Moregardh's been playing in Champion's League. He is a real contender for gold and a threat to Japan, China, and Taipei.

I think Jha could upset one of the big 3 listed above.

Kanak did manage to take Truls to game 7 in WJTTC last year so he's the only one he could beat out of the 3 but i still don't think he will since Truls is in good form at the moment.

Its a very exciting Youth olympic For Table tennis Lovers , Maybe most of the fans would think of Harimoto as champion in this games but Wang chuqin and Truls Moregard will surprise him ( also Lin yun Ju ) I like Moregard's style of playing , So promising . In women part If sun yingsha plays like Fan zhendong she will be champion
