The participations are unprecedented. Almost all top players will be there. Almost the whole CNT will be there, the same goes for JNT and KNT.
Some interesting paintings will be tested at the tours. FZD/LJK at Sweden Open, FZD/WCQ, FZD/DingNing, ML/LGY, XX/LSW, ....
It’ll be tough to get through even qualifying rounds.

So for the Sweden Open, FZD and ML are in the 1/4, Koki and LGY in 2/4, Dima and HARIMOTO in 3/4, and MJ and XX in 4/4.
Can’t remember last time ML and FZD were in the same quarter.

One of the Chinese online forums. The ittf site Is usually much slower to update.

FZD played against ML in international tours 14 times three of which were in semifinals and 11 were in finals! Just image the possibility of LJK inserted into the 1/4 quarter after passing the qualifying round.....

We can only hope there are no spoilers for XX-MJ rematch. In terms of the seeding, XX has the best luck so far with FZD, ML, LGY all in the top half

He has Zhou Yu in his draw as well though, so he might not get through him
