Sir

Students should be introduced a method of serving on table to improve service by keeping a target of broken ball or any thing which could be kept as target on the other side of net and he or she should be able to strike it one or two chance and practice daily different type of service spin or simple which will improve concentration which will make him or her perfect player in TT. as he or she improves he should make target more nearer the net.

I hope this simple technique may bring lot of improvement
Because I believe that if one scores on service he can take a quick lead in points to win the game .

Service is the best first stroke in TT

Seasons Greetings to all and Happy New Year

You could also attach 2 rods on each side of the net with a string running across, and make your students serve between the net and the string. The better they get, the lower the string goes. Once they get the hang of that, then you may start the placement exercise. Good placements, but high serve is still gonna be bad news for the server.:D
