Here is a vid of a match from your typical Korean Amateur TT Tourney.

Note, the gym is always a city/municipal gym with upper floor seats (where your club claims a hundred of them and cooks lunch !!)

Note, they all got scorekeepers, always, even if it is a player in group.

Note, they coach between points... and sometimes during points.

Note, they rarely stop play for a let.

Note, they all have a blast.

The scoring thing I recently found out is not a thing in the US that blew my mind. We have scoring here even in crappy club tournaments nevermind proper leagues and tournaments.
I am with you on believing even a club match should have a scorer.

USA is so not with that.

Maybe my first real experience of tt being in Korea poisoned me.
