Is Table Tennis gear cheaper in Japan?

Tenergy in China is around 62-63USD. In Japan as well.
Tenergy prices are similar around the world.

Euro brand blade (Stiga, Tibhar, Donic etc) is generally cheaper from TT11 if you get the 30% off discount (over 300 euro).
Butterfly blade is generally cheaper in China and Japan.

In Japan if you go to local shop, the price is still high.
But sometimes amazon jp has some good deals for butterfly blades e.g 115USD for Inner ALC.

yes, fake is indeed an issue. There are some trusted seller though. If anyone need I can msg the link. Those are where I get my equipments from.

Thanks G_ZHANG - maybe I'll pick some up the next time I'm in China. Last time I was too scared I might get a fake.

I would think table tennis equipment is cheaper in China than Japan, not sure I would take a vacation just to get cheaper TT equipment.
I have been to China many times and played there. Many of the TT halls also sell TT gear. I have seen no bargains in China.
I think there is a hidden sales tax that is applied that raises the cost.
It has always been cheaper to wait to get home.

Japan isn't cheap either. I have been there too but it isn't as convenient playing in Japan as it is in China and the tables are cheaper by the hour in China.

I was in Japan a couple of years ago on business and no.
TT11 and ali-express are probably the best places to shop
