Brett's vid unconsciously shows the approach I like - a PROGRESSIVE approach. His way isolates some key elements, gets you to get proficient, then move up to add more factors.

Brett has a lot of other great vids... some ttd members ought to chime in with some of TTD owner Dan's vids.

As usual Der_Echte is spot on ... what I would bring attention to is that in your serving motion ... you start low then you stand up and then you again bend the knee ... I felt this is happening too much in your motion and thats why the contact is at 30 degree and high and you are not able to make it stable ... I would keep a consistent knee bend through the serve and use the right waist to create power ... if I were you I would build the basic structure of the serving motion around Liu Guoliang serving motion and then you can add diffferent spins ... of course he is using short pips but I feel his basics are very strong ... and you can still see it in the technique ...

      Lets go Spinny Looping !

More body and brush more thinly with more whip. On the right track.

The body needs to move in a way which helps the arm's movement, just like for a forehand topspin.
