Nexy USA supporting AKUL as TT Player

I have decided to support a local kid with a Nexy uniform, so he can go about the sport looking professional and later influence his school to get a TT program...

Problem was... when I was getting the jersey selected, I changed my mind... and went with 4 jerseys and 2 shorts.

Akul just won U1900 at ICC and his mom just won U1600.

The front of the jerseys has korean... Buljan Middle School... just like the Korean kids represent their school. Koreans will see it and know it is a school... then google it with no results... since it is in California.

Anyways, here are the front and back sides.

Akul reads TTD, but isnt a member yet, until his parents approve. I might not be able to get these uniforms to him until next week after I get back from Vegas.

I would lay 10 to 1 odds Akul has seen the FB or TTD post before he sees the uniforms live.

I also got a pair of the blue ones for the parents for the next time they play a team tourney.

Akul is fresh of consecutive tourney weeks with wins in the ICC U1900 and Walnut Creek U1800 divisions.

Somehow, I couldn't sync up a meeting with his parents to get him the uniforms, but the family will be at our local club this Monday to get them. (The father plays and allround retriever style, and the mother is a close to the table Medium Pips disruptor style)

Akul gunna look cool (hey, they rhymes !!) competing looking professional.

Count Der_Echte as one of the ones who look forward to Akul competing and being the force with his parents to create TT programs at school.

Akul defeated some good players in the Sacramento Winter Open, results will post to USATT soon, Akul will likely pass my rating by end of summer.

Will ask Akul dad about that. I left a tripod with small et t phone adapter in the local tt club for anyone to use... so it might happen.

well done!!!

over the years I have also supported few local talents here.
Its a butterfly effect. one of my first sponsorship, ended up going to play in Paris. We even had an interview on the Radio as it was like a Cinderella story. That one year changed a lot for that young girl.

It is great that local companies help they local athletes.
TT companies is a start, but we need more non TT companies to contribute and "buy space" off the playing kit.
