Best rubbers for 5-ply OFF- Blade

Thanks for your inputs.

So I had a lesson with a young Chinese player who said she used to be on the same team with Zhang Jike.

She noted that I have trouble relaxing in between strokes which is very true. That issue is not going to go away anytime soon so I think I am going to keep my overall rubber weight down.

In her opinion I definitely need a faster, harder forehand rubber. As for the backhand, she actually used my same rubber for two years. Vega Euro DF. says my current bh rubber works pretty well for me. I do think I could get something with more bite.

Given my aim to keep things light I narrowed my list to these:

Rakza 7 5.0
Vega Japan 5.0
Andro Hexer Grip 4.4
Xiom Vega Asia DF 4.0
Nittaku Fastarc C-1 4.0
Rakza 7 Soft 3.7
Andro Rasanter 42 3.6
Omega VII Euro 3.6
Xiom Vega Europe 3.4

For FH, I think it’s between Rakza 7, Hexer Grip, Japan, C-1.

Its not really that heavy.
Its like 45-46 hardness while some of the other rubbers on the list are 47.5.
Also 1.9 should definitely suffice

I mean if ur already experimenting why not try the best at least once in life

I will in a year hopefully. It’s too advanced for me.

Ah well, I tried. 2020 is gonna be a very good year I hope! :)

TBH I was also kind of timid about trying T05 because of ppl saying how fast and advanced and wild it is.
Truth is it is one of the most controlled rubbers I ever played. It's just a very high quality product with an incomparable sense of balance and stability that u feel on every ball u play. I'm sorry to say that Rakza7 and Vega Pro do not match it.

The rubber I used before T05 was Rakza 7 Soft and they feel nearly the same, except it's much easier to keep serves short (though they have less spin), flat shots are super stable and safe (and explosive, really felt how opponents were suddenly under more pressure than before I switched) and in all other aspects of the game quite similar. The only serious difference I felt was the sudden stability on all shots.
If you're used to jumpy soft rubbers T05 is a very natural transition

Everyone certainly does love Tenergy 05.

Here are my final choices for combos. Comments welcome:

1) FH Vega Asia DF / BH Vega Euro DF
2) Andro Hexer Grip both sides
3) FH Andro Hexer Grip / BH Andro Hexer PowerGrip SFX
4) FH Rakza 7 / BH Rakza 7 Soft
5) FH Tenergy 05 (wild card) / BH Vega Euro DF

What do you think?
