After a quick check two of the states currently not represented SD and WY have had a total of one player each play in the US Nationals since 2009! 2013 for Wyoming and 2016 for South Dakota. Seems pretty safe to say they won't be represented this year also. LOL

They will be seeded 1 & 2 so it would be in the final. Each only has to win 2 significant matches to get there.

Kanak may have the edge since he has been practicing with the plastic ball awhile while Zhou may not be fully adjusted to it at his level due to coaching.

I think so, too. Zhou will need to practice very hard while Kanak has had a lot of international matches recently. His match against ML was phenomenon for such young talent from US.
