      Leaked Photos: New rubber colours on blades!

      So guys, as you are all aware, at the recent ITTF AGM the different rubber colours was approved and will be in effect after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. We have some very first images of what the rubbers will look like on blades.

      Looks terrible. Some of these colors will blend in with the table. How on earth is the ITTF thought process?? Ridiculous.

      Which company made these rubbers? Did the manufactures have a say in the voting? Who had the final say approval this colour change, ?

      This should help companies sell more rubbers.

      Now it’s looks much more in “café-ping -pong” than in table tennis sports.

      I don't really have any objections to introducing different colours, but I don't think any of the examples look that good.

      It looks like those photos are designed to make the rubbers seem more bright than they actually are.

      Look at the green next to the purple in the first pic - It's a much darker green than the next picture, which seems to have been positioned to catch the reflection......

      I don't like any of the colours anyway, but the green in the first pic (from what little I can see), is the least offensive.....
