My son plays with xiom Vega pro + mxs FH+ Rakza 7 soft backhand, everything is ok , developing fast , style is more flicks and top spins attack . Now we need a new set , the xiom Vega pro is discontinued, thought of xiom quad zeta as an alternative, does it behave close to xiom Vega pro , does it work better with medium hard or soft rubber? If I choose this one, should we stick with Rakza 7 soft for bh or it is better to move to Rakza 7? Generally I don’t understand selection of rubber hardness in relation to blade stiffness. Thank you

The Vega Pro is a good blade, but quite unique with the Limba/ZLC (Xiom Zelphinium) top plies.. Closest might be something like Jun Mizutani ZLC, but maybe you could look at a Viscaria (harder face plus ALC). There is a possibility that the newer Xiom blade range has a direct equivalent to the Vega Pro, but I am not familiar with them. I am also very impressed by the newish Stiga Dynasty carbon, although it is pricey and not the same construction as your Xiom.
When changing, it is best to keep one aspect the same, so try the current rubber on any new blade.

Whats wrong with the old blade?
As mentioned above the Vega blades are unique and it will be very hard to find something like that. In addition they are of rally top quality.
Anyway if your son feels good with Vega Pro it will be best to stick with it. It is still possible to find this blade.
For example there is one here:

And you can try to buy it from here:
