Considering that harimoto had lost to pitchford twice without winning a set, I totally get why a lot of us thought he would lose (including me)
but this does show how much harimoto has improved in the last year or two, adapting to pitchfords fast switches and staying in the bh-bh rallies for longer when his kill shots don't win the point outright

Since his comeback from injury, ML has looked as dominant as I've ever seen him. It's always tough to call when teammates play each other, but it will need a big performance from FZD tomorrow. Looking forward to it, even with the unfortunate seeding.

per Zeio's translation HT was not confident agst Liam and would never predicted 4 - 0. if this was truthful, then some posters here knew better than HT about this matchup
