Electronic Statistics of Placement and Spin

In the China Open 2019, the statistics of the placement and the spin (rpm) were showed. It's my first time seeing these. So nice!

Any buddy can help answer my questions below? Thank you very much!

      1. How did they get the figures? What kind of devices were used? Especially the spin one?

      2. I couldn't see the same things in the competitions afterwards, like the Hong Kong Open, Japan Open. Did they do the statistics only in the China Open? Why?

I also might be mistaken but I think I remember Bobrow saying something about a few extra cameras around the table during one of the matches I have watched.

Not quite, those use Radar. I think ITTF were using high speed cameras.

Wow! Thank you very much, buddies! The video is great.

Counting the spin can be done only by cameras actually. I thought some contact was needed. What a villager! The surveillance ability of our mother country is quite beyond my expectation.

This technique should be used to help judge those edge balls and let balls.

Why don't those other ITTF pro tours use it? Patent?
