Good job Kasumi. But anything can happen in table tennis. In this case i think the coach and chen meng did not take the japanese girl seriously enough. It is july but who knows what would happen next year in olympics or in this years world cup.

It is too early to make a verdict about the mens or womens team China. Lets see next year.

It is okay if CNT member loses once against a foreigner in a world tour but it must not happen in the big tournaments. Maybe the CNT is vulnerable in the future again.

(Waldner grandslam, Ryu Seung Min athens, Timo Boll World Cup, Werner Schlager world champion, Singapore team championship 2010, 2020................olympic champion (singles, team, mixed)

By the way, Yingsha practically secured herself the eighth place in the rating ....
Theoretically - and on the 7...
(and this is without taking into account the results of T-2!)

To take some attention away from the 'surprising' losses that have dominated this thread, I was wondering if anyone had watched the LJK vs Groth match? Seems like Wang Hao was peeved that the umpire kept warning (faulted?) LJK for his service and Groth also looked agitated from this short clip?

Sad for FZD's demise but equally excited by WCQ's rise. I would not write FZD off but I think he should simply get some rest. Stop focusing on ML and doubles for a while. Get back to basics and watch some of his old videos destroying everyone. If WH is not working out for him , try to change his coach.
