Whats wrong with ittf. These tournaments are just week apart from each other. Jeez ! These players need some rest !

T2 Diamond ensues afterwards. 18th to 21st July. Most players would not want to give up the bonus points – at least 400 for just participating.

Not for the players in the top 10 that are always in the semis. I find it funny you think it's less pressure playing tournaments than practicing at home.

For some players, a new experience in a different country, like a vacation, to enjoy their pro experience.

You see, the earlier the players give courtesy lose, the earlier they can start the holiday lol

this back to back world tours is just silly.
most people have no idea how stressful it is for a player to be pushing themselves to near 100% performance back to back.
The june/july period is very taxing on the players.

I think some players dwell on the tournament experience vs practice and the physical training at home. After awhile, they may need a break. I played another sport at a high level playing a tournament every weekend throughout the summer, couldn't wait for the weekend in a different city, the whole experience eating at new restaurants and the parties. The early rounds of a tournament we were coasting, so not that much pressure until the quarters.
