That is pretty neat, but it would mean that the game would be played predominantly via BH or step around FH. The other side FH requires hitting much higher over the normal net height and then also is nearly impossible at hitting around the net, where as the opposite is true on the Righty BH side. Lefty's would dominate this type of game because the favored left side court could loop with the FH.

Just mirror the setup and you could play forehand to forehand as a righty with a twist of sidespin to keep the ball going straight..
