China national championships

This simply comes down to the fact that some style is simply just more effective against another. Samsonov may lose to most of these younger folks in CNT because he is slower and less powerful (partly due to his age) but his steady offense, robust defense and ability to read varying spins that comes with his decades of experiences work very well against choppers like Hou.

The kids losing to Hou in this championship struggled huge time with reading the spin, and this ultimately cost them the match. I honestly don't think this means Hou or his style is better but it's more of an indication of the lack of experience these young players have with choppers. Give them some time and they will catch up and find ways to beat choppers.

China isn't going to start taking any drastic measures to breed choppers after this, but it's more of a reminder for them to get these rising younger folks more exposure and training against choppers.

HYC compared to Ruwen Filus or Ma Te gets massive backspin on his chops, then throws in a side spin or no spin chop. Tough for his opponents to read the amount of spin. A loose ball is punished with his big FH. Impressive performance.

I watched the game and was surprised how good hau attacked even sometimes better than WCQ and how impatient WCQ was , but overall the result is unbelivable . What is more intetesting is that Zhang jike's fans have shared Hau Yingchao's photo with his doughter on podium , as far as I know he is the close friend of ZJK . Also ZJK is godfather of his doughter . I hope ZJK can have a gleam of motivation for comeback after his friend's championship at 39 !!!

samsonov is one of the best players against chop
that is true but check out this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUilid2vfxg
Mizutani was never good against choppers, he admited it in some interview many years ago. Still got quite easy 4:0 victory. If you look at this match and current state by Hou it is different player, looks little bit slimmer and simply better.

I don't think i've seen a single post of you where you don't mention Zhang Jike in some way. Might as well just propose to him.

Cheap jibe, but I don't think I've seen a single post of you where you don't have some form of beef with a Chinese player and/or all of them at once. Her post was nice and informative, and I'm glad I read it.

I don't think I've seen a single post where Danny11231 contributed anything of value.

The results on page one list Guo Yan in preliminaries, is she THE Guo Yan? She won too.
I can say whatever the heck i want whether you consider it of value or not. This is a public forum not your private forum where people post whatever pleases you. Btw, good job spelling my name correctly.

Not really my fight, but that seems kinda hypocritical.

When you open into a thread:

Specifically to criticise someone posting "whatever the heck they want". Then get butthurt when people criticise you on what you post.

Noone has told you that you can't post. If remarking on someone's post history is an exercise in "I can say whatever the heck I want", it would seem like a strange argument to use against someone making exactly the same sort of remark on your comment history.
