Eugene Wang (Canada) 2 x 4 (Brazil) Hugo Calderano

The world rankings are, for now at least, fairly meaningless.

Wu Jiaji has played in several World Tour Senior Events without any significant results in the last 4 years, not much before that either.

Here is his profile and results:

The same could be said for Eugene Wang or Kanak Jha if we are using strictly the same standard - remember thar Wu is not eligible for the kinds of events that Kanak's ranking largely derives from and Wu also lost to players at those events that would eat Kanak for dinner. Which is why you need to paint a fuller picture.

Anyone can talk a good game without providing any real facts ?

Kanak Jha didn't get a WR#33 by losing.

Wu Jiaji WR#648

World Tour
Last 2 results shows participation
Next 3 results show going out in the group stage

Mizuki Oikawa was one of the players who beat out Wu Jiaji in the group stage at the Croatian Open as one example. Mizuki Oikawa beat Timo Boll in the German league.

Kanak's rating is partly enhanced by his result in North American events. Same with Heming Hu, who is Oceania champ and WR 75 despite having no significant world tour performances.

I wonder what you will write when Juan Liu wins the US trials. You will make it sound like an upset of monumental proportions, won't you, given that she has no ranking but is beating ItTf top 100 players easily?

Ha ha your argument is Laughable.

Don't talk woulda coulda. If I remember correctly, Don Meridith once said, if ifs and buts were canned in nuts, we would have a merry christmas.

To refresh your memory, we are talking about Kanak Jha WR#33 and Wu Jiaji WR#648.

Simply stated: a player gets their world senior tour ranking by winning or losing not by speculation.

Please don't waste my time with your speculation.
