Ito showed growth in this match. After game 1, her BH lost the edge. By game 4, she was already stepping around to use her FH as much as possible. If it were not for the unfortunate event, there's a good chance she could've taken game 6.
True but still the best strategy against her is to wait until she start missing risky shots. I can see most of her opponents do it. When they see she is on fire and every risky shot lands on the table they are trying Just to play more spin and wait until Ito starts missing. Most of cases it happens.

Female announcer: "Harimoto and Zhao Zihao have never played together at the World Tour. It'll be very interesting to see what will happen."

Harimoto has the upper hand in serve and attack and BH. Not looking good for Zhao.

Harimoto keeps serving to Zhao's short FH. That's getting predictable. Wasted so many game points.

G4, finally served a half-long one at 1:3.

Zhao 6:2, 6:9. Harimoto's FH keeping up well. Now it's the BH that's acting up. 8:9, TO for Harimoto. 8:10, 11:10, 11:11, 11:12, 11:13. Harimoto doesn't choke much in this tournament.

Zhao 7:9, 9:9, 9:10, 10:10, 11:10, 11:11. Harimoto's FH saved the day. 12:11, 12:12. Harimoto's BH getting soft. 12:13, 13:13, 15:13.

Harimoto 2:0, 6:1, 6:2, 7:2, 7:3, 8:3, 9:3. Harimoto's BH recovers. 9:4, 11:4.

3rd World Tour title to his name.

I'm all for a good match, but this Mima vs CNT players while high in excitement and fervor, seem to be get a bit underwhelming and distasteful this days, it's all about serves, Both Mima and Xintong lost a lot of points on being unable to handle the serve- either losing the point outright on receive, or fumbling the receive and crushed on the 3rd ball. Who can figure out a new weird spin or spins on serve wins, even the CNT's preparation against Mima is very serve- heavy these days, With normal serves like pendulum, reverse pendulum and shuffle that's fine, but serving on the white line, weird serve motions and placements, gesturing to serve here and serving there, I mean I guess folks will agree it's fine if they're not illegal and can get you an advantage but it leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion, Depending on Tricks to win rather than Outplaying the opponent.

Why is Zhao continuously getting into BH-BH exchanges with Harimoto. Unless your name is Wang Hao in his prime, going RPB BH-BH with Harimoto is not recommended. TH is not intimated by the mullet.

Easy win for Harimoto in the end. I think this is Harimotos 4th win on the world tour.

The Grand Final title is counted separately by tradition.

Not sure what the shelf-life is for Mima's style but I suspect that she'll be good for maybe one more olympic cycle before she's completely figured out/age catches up. Chen was exploiting angles and making Mima run around like no other chinese player has done so far, and the last two blocks were very reminiscent of how Fukuhara used to lose to the chinese.

I think one way of gauging Ito's performance is to compare the ease with which Chen beat He vs how Chen battled Ito. He even ceded the match early realizing that nothing she did would work.

As I told before this stat is useless. There are many different lower level chinese players who were beaten by JNT members, but they will not join the China olympic team. For me only top chinese players results are important from last 3 months. And the stats shows:
ito: 0:2
ishikawa: 1:5
hayata 0:1
hirano 0:2
sato 1:1
kato 1:3
