To be honest, I'm sad that they have to play against each other next round.
Too bad it couldn't have been delayed by one round, then there could've been 3 German players in the semi finals

I think Shibaev is a much better talent than his career so far shows and is being held back by injuries and mental instability.

Mima Ito was down 0-1 in games, 4-8 in game 2 and came back to win game 2 at 11-9. She has a chance if she can fend off that CXT forehand.

Ito's serve-n-attack as effective as ever. As noted last week in Bulgaria, her BH puts more curve on the ball now.
CXT has adjusted to Ito's serve in G4.
Ito is fighting herself here, in exactly the same manner as the NHK documentary.
After 2 quick games, her BH has recovered some, but the 3rd ball still not working.

This is an area that I think HH is better at. Mima Ito has a tendency to become frustrated and her shoulders slouch when her ultra aggressive shots are not falling in. Generally, the Japanese women are known for their positiveness and regain that confidence when things aren't going their way. I hope she can solve this problem soon.
