Hi guys,

Have anyone tried more than 1 of Andro's 7-ply blades: CS7 Tour, Core 7 Off+, Timber OFF/S?

They are all limba-ayous blades between 6.7-7mm. Is there any material differences or differences to head shape/size?

I was looking for something a step up from my Clipper/Adidas and saw some frequency values for the Core and CS7 in the mid 1400Hz (my sweetspot). Vendor tells me the Timber 7 is ~7mm, but only 80-83g, which is featherweight to me.

Any comments?

I haven't tried any of the blades, but CCA 7 is from Tibhar. Reviews here:
https://www.tabletennisdaily.com//equipment/blades/12732-cca7
https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/tibhar-cca-7 (the review in Russian says it has empty handle)
https://revspin.net/blade/tibhar-cca-7.html

Same frequency on different blades it doesn't mean it'll play the same. I've seen big difference in speed on blades with almost the same frequency.
Smoked limba has good reviews.
There is a recent thread about TSP Swat and Swat Power (7 ply with smoked limba), you should read it.

Hi Thanks, my mistake haha.

I have the Swat Power, still too thin and flimsy for my liking. Frequency doesn't tell everything, but is one of the few direct comparables. Mine only measured 1268.

Lasta did you try the new Timber off or off/s
Also how is Swat Power compared with Force Pro Black or Fextra?

Haha, back again? Welcome!

Yes, I ended getting the OFF/S and CS7 Tour. They are identical. Both are thicker and faster than the Force Black or Fextra.

Swat power felt a bit softer, but still in the same speed range.

A while back I recommended you look into the Andro CS7 Pro, all ayous 7 ply ~6.5mm, a bit slower than the tour and Timbers. Or maybe the regular version of TSP Swat.

Swat is terrible. Beginners blade. Felt like a 5 ply to me and vibrates like crazy.

It is not necessarily just the speed, I need a bit of help on my fh, a bit of dwell or a little less stiff than the beast 7 ply blades.
I need enough spin off fh to make the pimple shots good later in the point.
Plus I need contrast, with ABS balls if blade is too stiff I just end up playing too flat off both sides.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

Only thing left is the CS7 Pro and Nittaku Seaptear...

If those don't work, its you MOG, not the blades😂.

What about

Victas Dyna 7
Victas Koki Niwa
TSP Swat power
Yasaka Max Wood
Nittaku S7
Nittaku Ludeack
Avalox P700
Avalox BT777
Joola Xylo 7
Tibhar Dynamic J7
Nittaku Factive
Andro Timber Off
Gauzy BL 7

I am tempted to go a bit all out and get a Nittaku S7 (Soulspin) I think!!

EJ at 1AM? You must be relapsing!

Most of the list is beyond me. VICTAS Koki Niwa Wood was similar to the Swat power. I found it soft and flimsy, but maybe it will work for you. I've only tried the Nittaku S5, not the 7. It was a step up from the Clipper types, so definitely not your flavour.

You've already tried the P700.

The rest? Pff.

Oh well looks like I am stuck with PD437

Sound good if you can resist haha.

If not, CS7 Pro, a lighter Septear/Swat power/Koki Niwa. Then blame me if those don't work🤣.

Mind you, I'm with the hard hammering 110g+ blades club, so my grail might as well be your trinket.
