      Fake DHS Long 5

      Hello,
i could buy a used DHS Long 5 but the seller says there is no Number on the Handleside.

I don't think it's normal. A genuine Long V blade would come with a red authntification card that contains a serial number. And you should find the same serial number one the side of the handle.

That writing looks quite light in my opinion...

What's the price of the blade?

Prott has one for $105: https://www.prott.vip/Product-Detail...ductcode=LONG5

They also have a new Yasaka with the same composition as the W968. Why not just get a DHS Fang Bo 2 or H301?

I think it is real. Letters on the handle side AHABA? is the production date 2018-12-1? of the blade. The next F denotes that the blade is a market version. So this is a real HL5 market version.

I suspect this blade is high duplicated and I think there are a lot of fakes.

There was this one guy at our club who would go home to Vietnam every few months. Always come back with this exact blade & butterfly rubbers on it and sell a few of this setup to folks at club for $100.

I mean unless he's just into pure charity, I just kinda shook my head at the situation. I'm guessing he paid $50 bucks or something for them (and that person selling to him you know was making a nice profit). Guess there's a sucker born every minute.
