Try Battle II Provincial 38 degrees, it's cheap, feels softer, like 37, and it is a very good choice.

I'm a huge fan of Gambler rubbers as well. Burst on Gearz sponge should be about like the softest H3 neo. I like the topsheet more and it's definitely lighter. Not boosted either, as far as I can tell.

      I completely agree!
Battle 2 at 38 ° is a great choice for backhand.
The provincial version has a more flexible sponge.
When you use a booster it is fast, with excellent control and high spin.

Battle has lower throw and harder topsheet than h3. Thus not a direct substitute, plays too different. It's like skyline 2, but with harder topsheet.

Yes, Battle 2 has a harder topsheet. Speed and spin are comparable to H3 NEO,
Battle 2 has better block control thanks to a tougher topsheet.
H3 NEO is more demanding for backhand.
I prefer for backhand Master 729 GT degree of 36 °.
