Ma Long manages to take out Gauzy but it wasn’t easy. It’s clear to me that Ma Long isn’t 100% and was wary of hitting the ball too hard especially in the first two games and he isn’t moving as fast as he can.
My impression is Gauzy felt that and rushed a little too much and that caused him to make quite a lot of avoidable misses that ultimately cost him the match.
Maybe Ma Long will be able to raise his level as he advances in the tournament

it didn't look good at all after game 1 for Dima, but MA Long increased his level, and played better than against GAUZY. 4-1. quite amazing, MA Long is still there to win again

I hope so but unlikely that he'll beat ML even when he isn't at his best, also the fact that he barely managed to beat Niwa doesn't help his case. I'll be glad to be proven wrong though.
