I’ve been using the same rubber but was curious also with the DHS Hurricane 3-50, so I tried a sheet. I ordered the normal, mid-hard version but what showed up was really soft. I wonder if it was a packaging issue where I actually received the soft version. Hearing your story makes me believe it was.

Have you tried H3 Neo on the BH?

You might try Yinhe Moon Pro. I ordered myself one from Malaysia's presports. It's softer than I expected for 38 degrees dhs scale. In my opinion it's a little bit more springy than typical Chinese hard rubber, but definitely not euro jak style.
