Innerforce composition

Hello, what is the composition of Innerforce Layer AL? I found that other Innerforce series are limba-limba-alc-ayous, but one resource says Layer AL is limba-AYOUS-AL-ayous.

So is it really different with ayous second layer or is it the same as other innerforce so limba-limba?

Looks more ayous than limba to me, just like all the other innerforce ones. But I could be wrong.

I had also seen that but I'm not sure if the first 2 plies are limba-ayous or limba-limba. My guess is the former but it could be the latter.

What I can tell you though having an IF AL and an IF ALC, is that the AL is obviously way more controllable and it is also quite flexible. It's less fast that the IF ALC by quite a bit and behaves more like a 5-ply all-wood blade somewhere between a Primorac JP and a Korbel JP.

I might go back to it eventually for all these reasons.

Anyway, this carbon would work just like it does - hard wood like ayous works identically to carbon - adding it to the board is for advertising and not necessary.

Looks like a double Limba layer to me. Also, Ayous is among one of the softest woods used in blades so would give a much softer and bouncy feel than Limba. An Ayous layer is nothing like a carbon layer whatsoever.

If we consider the testing here to be showing truthful results, the butterfly innerforce and hl5 have the same composition but different behavior, any theories why ?

They may not have exact same composition. They are made from wood of same type in the respective layers. Wood thickness, cut, source and age are contributing too. Carbon may be different thickness and weave too. Also if that is old Long V it's just longer which may contribute to deflection.
