Yes. Germany qualified by winning the team event at the European Games last year. China qualified by winning the ATTC team event last September. Japan is the host and exempt from qualification.

still some good teams in Stage 2. It will be tough for Korean womens to make it to Tokyo

They have a good draw to the last round though. Ukraine has good but beatable players and the winner of Spain and Belarus isn't unbeatable. They have to win one match that will be tough but the tougher teams are in the other half IMP.
