JOOLA Mattnet Off - Cheap Viscaria clone?

Just noticed that this is a new ALC (PBA-c = ALC???) blade with koto outerplies and a kiri core. Not sure if the second veneer is the same as the Viscaria, but this sounds like it might be a $60 alternative to the Viscaria / Boll ALC.

Thoughts? This seems competitive with the Yinhe V 14 Pro at that price.

Tmount T540 is also a good Viscaria clone.

I don’t understand. Are you trying to say that the Mattenet blade is significantly faster/stiffer than an ALC (viscaria) blade? (Somewhere in between ALC and ZLC?

Thaanks for the links. The descriptions are actually very informative.

"Vectran's (arylate's) mechanical properties such as tensile strength and tensile modulus are comparable to those of Kevlar whereas its strength retention and creep under load is somewhat lower."

Overall it's like they are close in performance.
