I was/am in a similar situation, so decided to do shadow training every day if possible. I record my technique and correct it. When I am alone and have some free time I do trickshots, like catching the ball with both sides, catching spinny balls, rollers on kitchen table, aiming at something etc... I also like to serve to my bed. With only physical training and trickshots I managed to maintain my level for a half year and after two years it dropped a lot (it only shows in matches). I hope that with the regular shadow training I can overwrite bad habits.
