Very close-up photos: Yasaka Extra Offensive 7 Power

Last month I shared a similar set of photos on the Butterfly ZJK ALC. This time I created another set of macrophotography photos for my first custom blade, the Yasaka Extra Offensive 7 Power in penhold configuration.

I'm not 100% sure of YEO7P's ply construction, but my assumption is wenge/spruce/carbon/kiri/carbon/spruce/wenge. The carbon layers are thin and I don't feel they play a big role in practice, dwarfed by the hard shell of the wenge wood top ply and the thick core. In some way, it plays like an outer ALC blade. As expected, this blade is fast, but surprisingly half decent at looping due to the sub 6mm thinness. Currently, it's got Rakza 7 on the front and Rakza 7 Soft on the back.

Yasaka did a good job with the craftsmanship at a very reasonable price.

(Too bad image attachments do not retain enough quality to show all the details in the original)
