Why is this word banned?

If I try to use this word in a post, I am told that the word is "denied," and I unable to share the post until I remove it?

Why?

I'm defeating the censors with an image! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

I had the case once, where I replied to a post which ended with "sent from my ayePhone X", etc. (the very thing this word exclusion is aimed to prevent, I think) and I can't tell why the post I was quoting made it through, but the simple fact that the word appeared in the quotation made my entire post bounce. I took it as a sign it wasn't meant to be (or felt defeated by the Matrix, but either way), just let it go without re-writing the thing. Still, slightly random...

Edit: this post bounced as well, with the original spelling.

If anyone of this forum was part of the select few to Silver's ole forum (created in response to nonsense posts at DTTW back in the day) you may remember that they had all manner of fun with the word filters...

They made Loop come out as Chop... made Chop come out as Loop just to name a few.

I remembered that from trying to post it a long time ago. It seems funny to me that that would be banned.

I had assumed those filters were gone since I don't get them. But, maybe Dan will look at this thread and have an answer as to why iPhone and dumped are banned.
