I fear clustering the tournaments by ranking will prevent improving players to increase their rankings markedly and declining players to lose too many points. in the Women games, with all top players being Asian, it will deny other players the chance to challenge those top players in early rounds...

I am not sure the public will like the new formula, and it could have unintended effects.

To enhance the environmental credentials of the ITTF, would you not consider:

1 Banning the use of composite material in bats. That is, specify that blades should be all-wood.
2 Returning to celluloid balls which decompose over time unlike the present plastic balls.

Dear Steve Dainton,

1. I've watched the same matche, filmed by ITTF, and filmed by TV Tokyo. For the Japanese TV, they have several camera view angle. They switch the view angle, closer view which is great. While ITTF only have high-above camera angle. In the near future, do you plan to improve this?

2. Some YouTube channels reupload ITTF's match, and they don't have any problem. Mean while, another YouTube channel upload their own private records, and ITTF made the copyright strikes. Many channels have been closed. The private records are used for coaching purpose, so why ITTF do that? And why ITTF let another YouTube doing that? The policy of the ITTF Media team is inconsistent, and make the content maker confusing. Do you have some clarification?

3. For instance, ITTF just focuses on the world top players matches. How about the program for the coaching and the development for the public players?

HOW SOON DO WE SEE ILLUSTRATED DATA BASE OF THE RUBBERS ??

MSN@ company owned by Mr. Sharara did blocked all the databases on rubbers, balls, etc.
Why is ITTF so sluggish to restore the rubber data base??? We, umpires, are needing valid rubber images badly, to be able to identify all the illegal products.
Still waiting for ITTF doing renewal of the data-base for public use on internet.
THANKS.
