Soft Defensive Paddle

I need a soft defensive paddle as I tend to overpower things and I need to slow it down a bit. Killerspin recommended their Diamond TC Premium or Kido 7p rtg premium. What do you guys reccomend?

I guess that the main question is how slow you want it? What blade do you currently use?

I haven't played in a few years and I don't have a particular paddle. I played alot for years and always over powered on def.ense
