Hello, today I posted my first episode of a new series where I try to play and train as a modern defender.
This will be a mini series where I record myself training and playing as a modern defender.

Since I'm new to this, please comment some tips on how should I improve my technique or footwork.

The first thing to have a look at is your chopping "swing". It should preferably start from the height of your ear and the ball impact should be around the waist. You will need 6+ months to develop this. Switching LP rubbers is much harder than switching between inverted/back side rubbers so I recommend that you pick one and stick with it no matter how bad it feels.

Use arm less, body more. Arm is unsafe.
