He is after injury
Exactly. Just played his first league matches (see eg: https://youtu.be/exf7nvdMzPE), probably not yet fit to compete on international scene.

With XX and him missing out, some lefty reduction. Hope silent assasin can murder some. Also wish Franz and Tsuboi will do well...

Who in the world is writing these ITTF articles? We thought those articles years ago were bad, but this one is just bizarre. Especially the section about Jeoung Youngsik's match against Wong Chun Ting, and the fact that they're making the article absurdly long by leaving in all the mid-match updates even after they've finished already.

https://www.ittf.com/2020/11/13/dishang-2020-ittf-mens-world-cup-day-one/

"Wong Chun Ting and Jeoung Youngsik are on showboat mode right now, as both Asian athletes are leaving everything at the table with the score 3-2 (9-11, 12-10, 10-12, 7-11, 11-7) in the favour of the Korea Republican. The way this first day has gone, can anyone see this match not going to a decider?." (Korea Republican!? What kind of term is that? And the match had actually been in favor of Wong, not Jeoung...)
