Dhs h3n/h3 vs tg2/tg3 difference?

As far as I'm concerned Tg series is based off of penholding but that conclusion was only drawn from the idea that the national Chinese team penhold players use The while shakehanders use H3... Is there really key differences in to why it's that? Anyone has any idea why TG is preferred over Hurricane for PH?

The original synopsis on the classic Skyline series read something like optimizations for the characteristics of MLin's and WH's games where:
Skyline 2 had a hybrid topsheet, as in semi-tacky/semi-grippy, designed for 1-shot power loop;
Skyline 3 had a tacky topsheet, designed for continuous looping.
Both had different pip shapes.
Both had the same sponge.

The Neo series made further minor optimizations to the topsheet and sponge. The tack was cut down by a fair bit. The sponge was less dead. The weight was reduced by a lot. The price was jacked up by a lot. QC remained "I'm feeling lucky."

According to the consensus of a lot of Chinese players:
Spin: TG2>H3>TG3
Power (single one off power shot): TG2>H3>TG3
Power required by player: TG2>H3>TG3
Best for repeated loops: TG3>H3>TG2
Short game handling: TG2>H3=TG3

As you can see, TG2 is a specialised rubber I have played for many months. It has a high ceiling than H3 for spin generation. Yet TG2 requires a more committed stroke, thus slows down recovery. Professional like Xu Xin is able to handle that, but not many amateurs.

H3 is good in many aspects that's why it has reigned in China for two decades.

I just feel H3 is faster than TG2 and TG3. That's all. I keep on coming back to H3.

Yes H3 is made for speed.

They just suit different games. If speed is the top priority then H3 is your best bet.

For example ZJK, ML use H3 for speed. Ma Lin and Xu Xin use TG2 for spin and insane short games.
