Thanks for pointing this out. I am looking for a more traditional OFF- blade, all-wood as I fear the carbon would be too difficult to control.

From the suggestions, I think I will try the Xiom Offensive S.

In that case yes, Xiom Offensive S is a good choice.

Other good blades of that category: Butterfly Petr Korbel, Stiga Azalea OFF, Victas Dyna Five Hard.

Offensive S is an excellent choice. Think no further on the subject. Get the Offensive S. It is an excellent blade and there are not many blades as good that are as inexpensive as it is.

Agreed. There are not many blades even at double the price that are as good as the Xiom Offensive S.

I'd also throw-in these blades, into the mix ..


  • Stiga Clipper
  • Tibhar Stratus Power Wood (A wee wee bit faster)
  • Stiga Nostalgic Offensive (Lovely blade.. nice feel.. Also the most expensive)
  • Petr Korbel
