Hello, Few years ago I heard, that hurricane 3 is better, when it is black. The red rubber was supposed to be stiffer and that was the reason why a lot of players are using hurricane 3 black on fh and red on bh. I want to try other hurricane, hurricane 8 and my question is: Is there a difference between red and black hurricane 8 like it is supposed to be with hurricane 3? Thanks for all answers

It has been widely discussed already here and there, seems to be the difference between pigments/dyes that creates that tackiness difference from black to red top sheets.Snce it's the same factory, same brand, they probably do the same coloring process for each of their rubbers. https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?7834-Difference-between-red-and-black-rubber
