    We present a rather long history of confrontation between these greatest athletes of our sport, which began in 2005, lasted 9 years and ended after the end of Wang Hao's career.

The reigning Olympic and world champion, he is ranked 3rd in the world (as of March 2020) in the ranking of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). He has ranked # 1 for a total of 64 months (and 34 consecutive months since March 2015), the highest male player in table tennis history. Ma was born in Anshan, Liaoning, China. He has won a record 5 consecutive ITTF World Tour events, including a 35-set streak and a record 28 ITTF World Tour titles. Since 2014, he has been the captain of the China men's table tennis team.
    Wang Hao (Wang Hao, Chinese, pinyin: Wáng Hào, born December 15, 1983, Changchun, Jilin Province) is a retired Chinese table tennis player. He became the men's singles world champion in Yokohama, Japan in May 2009, defeating three-time world champion Wang Liqin 4-0 .. Among his other notable achievements is the three-time men's World Cup winner in 2007, 2008 and 2010, the silver medalist in the singles rank at the 2004 Summer Olympics, 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics. In January 2010, he was removed by Ma Long from the position of the leader of the official ITTF world rankings. It was previously ranked # 1 in the ITTF's official world rankings for 27 consecutive months, from October 2007 to December 2009

Eight-time world champion: four-time world champion in the team (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016), three-time world champion in doubles, world champion in 2015 in mixed doubles. Bronze medalist in singles at the 2013 World Championships in Paris and the 2017 World Championships in Dusseldorf. Winner of the 2013 World Cup in Verviers, Belgium.
